The 2nd Annual Meeting of the Venous Association of India (VAI) was held in Hyderabad, India, January 23-25, 2009.
A pre-conference CME for 200 doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists was held on the 23rd at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS).
Over 250 delegates from India and abroad participated in the meeting at the Fortune Select Manohar Hotel.
Speakers from Australia, France, Germany, Italy, and the USA joined venous experts from India to put on a fantastic program. Vascular malformations, venous thrombosis, varicose veins, and chronic venous insufficiency were the primary topics.
Saturday night's Gala Dinner was enjoyed by all.
Dr. P.V. Chalapathi Rao, Past-President of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), was honored for his work and inspiration. |
